The FFP3V masks have a minimum filtration efficiency of 99% and meet the EN 149:2001+A1:2009 FFP3V NR D standard.
The exhalation valve on a dust mask serves to facilitate and reduce the exhalation of air. The valve can be placed on the nose or mouth of the mask and consists of a valve that opens when the wearer exhales, which reduces pressure on the mask and increases comfort while wearing it. The attached valve can also help reduce humidity in the mask and prevent the mask from missing, which can obstruct vision. This can be especially useful in high humidity environments or when the mask is worn for extended periods of time.
