| Choose a sheltered spot — behind a wall, under trees, or against a slope to block wind. | |
| Lay the tent flat and unfold it fully. | |
| Tie the rope between two anchor points (trees, posts, or poles) at approximately 1 metre height — this is your ridgeline. | |
| Drape the tent over the rope so the peak sits at the centre and both sides slope down to the ground. | |
| Stake or weigh down the lower edges with rocks, bags, or soil to seal the sides. | |
| Enter through the open end. The silver interior reflects body heat back inward. | |
| For extra warmth, combine with your emergency sleeping bag inside the tent. | |
| To repack: shake off moisture, fold lengthways, then roll tightly from one end. | |
| ⚠This is an emergency tent, not a weatherproof camping tent. Always use in combination with your sleeping bag in cold conditions. Keep away from open flames — PE film is flammable. The orange exterior increases your visibility to rescuers — do not cover it. |
